In addition, don’t you have to add the 5% that went to the auction house? If so, that would lower the discount percentages.
October 1, 2007 at 9:06 AM #86553wawawaParticipantAre these condos in S.D. down town auction by D.R. Horton this weekend?
October 1, 2007 at 9:07 AM #86554temeculaguyParticipantRadelow gets free beer, that first one was 50% off. I can’t believe these discounts, this is worse than Riverside County. Why is that first one such a steep discount, is there a dead guy in it? Was it the first to be auctioned and everyone was a little skittish? If anyone is wondering where the Pain Train is, it is refueling at La Boheme.
October 1, 2007 at 9:13 AM #86557Allan from FallbrookParticipanttemeculaguy: Yes, indeedy. There are still some permabulls fighting a valiant rearguard action, but the facts are starting to carry the battle.
Off topic, TG: What in the name of the sweet, bearded Lord Jesus has happened to your Chargers? As a Raiders fan, I admit to asking that question with a huge grin (especially in light of the Broncos getting whupped up on by the Colts). To completely implode by this point in the season is a amazing, even for the Bolts.
Always room for a new fan in the Nation, baby!
October 1, 2007 at 9:25 AM #86559temeculaguyParticipantIt’s too early in the thread to hijack it into football. Take this link and scroll down to the Charger game where Bill Simmons lists the Norv Turner cheklist created when he was the Raider Coach, keep in mind it was written before the K.C. game so more things on the list can now be checked off.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program, the epic meltdown at La Boheme.
October 1, 2007 at 9:27 AM #86560NotCrankyParticipantThose are my Fresno Chargers.” GO Chargers” Go to Fresno.Get a new stadium and win there.
On Topic: Did same units ever sell at previous values? Sorry, to lazy to look it up.
October 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM #86573recordsclerkParticipantAuction item #302 was incorrect, it is actually item #27 previously valued @ $299,990.
Items #1-29 are Esperanza sales.
La Boheme items are 3 digits.
The 5% auction premiun is not included in these prices.October 1, 2007 at 12:00 PM #86580patientlywaitingParticipantNominations for creative writing award:

October 1, 2007 at 1:21 PM #86592temeculaguyParticipantThanks for the nod, patientlywaiting. BTW, since records pointed out a typo, the free beer is off the table but with an average 30% decline it’s still pretty impressive. I feel like Charlie, finding out there is still one more golden ticket out there and I am holding a Wonka bar, the race for 50% off is still alive and well.
October 1, 2007 at 1:37 PM #86597Allan from FallbrookParticipantPatientlywaiting: Thanks, as well. Blame Catholic schooling and reading too many history books.
TG: For a guy that will use nearly any excuse to talk football, you sure ducked the Chargers question quickly! Or maybe it was just me…
Speaking of housing prices, I spoke with my buddy in Los Altos again this weekend (we were joyously celebrating a rare Raiders win) and he mentioned that prices in some areas of Mountain View, Sunnyvale, and Cupertino are pushing $700/sf and continuing to hold. I know Google is employing pretty much everybody up there right now, but this seems insane.
October 1, 2007 at 1:49 PM #86602Ex-SDParticipantOh, their time in the box is coming. Look at the growth in inventory. Not a pretty picture.

My apologies but does give you an idea of where things are going.
October 1, 2007 at 4:06 PM #86634recordsclerkParticipantI’ve been waiting for someone to win a beer for about a year now. I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys.
October 1, 2007 at 7:20 PM #86659temeculaguyParticipantIt’s all good Radelow, we appreciate the info and even with the false beer alarm, it’s one of the best posts of stats in a while because it involved many properties and huge chunks downward.
Allan, we hijacked SD Realtors thread “two things I learned this weekend” it has erupted into a Norv Turner lovefest.
