What about one you thought was unjust but the draft was coming on anyway?
If we thought it was unjust and there was a draft we would probably bail out of the country. We have a few countries on a list that we would relocate to.
My wife is curious as to what countries you and yours have chosen. We have never really studied the expatriate possibility.I am sure it gets complicated, especially in the case of draft evasion. Since you have been so brave as to admit your intentions, I will say, I concur, with input from would be teenagers. We will be teaching them to be almost anti-war. Since they apparently want to kill each other,it doesn’t seem to be working.
My wife speaks French and we both speak Spanish. The kids are learning the latter. We have talked about living in South America as a life experience for the kids and ourselves, probably Argentina or Chile. My wife has lived in Belgium and France previously.
