Hate to be party pooper on the “superior home” but arent we missing some key information?
The 4,714 sf no view home sold new for $1.06M and had close to zero builder or post builder upgrades, poor landscaping and is an REO. Thats looks like a loss of no more than $150K w/o factoring in selling costs.
The 3,911 one-story view house sold new for $1.58M and had alot more post builder upgrades and landscaping. I’m thinking the loss on that one is close to $400K w/o factoring in selling costs.
Sorry guys but it looks like the inferior home held up much better……

April 4, 2009 at 9:23 PM #376264sdrealtorParticipantNo actually I hate it. Just came off a few days of soul searching high atop the mountains in Hawaii. Last year was not a happy year for me personally and I brought alot of that to this blog. I left it in the clouds this week. Expect a kinder and gentler sdr going forward. Its just still tough for me to turn my cheek when I see something so obviously skewed…I brought data which is what this blog is all about. ..I’ll try to be better…..In the meantime, care to comment on what i posted beyond a smarmy comment?
