Seems like the only thing they can understand, Force. Again, sad for the everyday folks living among the nut jobs with the guns.

I applaud the king and think we should negotiate only in order to find out who they want released so we will know who to kill later.February 5, 2015 at 9:56 AM #782661anParticipant
Frankly, I’m getting very tired with every news report showing the barbaric, savage treatment instigated by ISIS combatants. You should too.
They are playing us with these shocking videos. What are the credentials for these Imams and others that issue these ‘scholarly’ interpretations of the Quran. I’m guessing they are the only ones that might be able to at least read. Where are the women’s rights people condoning their treatment of women? Where is the exit plan? Either crush them or come back home.
+100. We’re making the same mistake that we made in the Vietnam war and the British made with us. You’re trying to impose some rule of war to a group that don’t care and won’t honor those rules. Either go all in and beat them at their own game or get out. There’s no point in spending billions and doing it half ass.

We put criminals on trial for crimes they commit. If applicable, we impose the death penalty, and execute them under an established process.
If you give politicians extrajudicial powers, who is to say they won’t use in a manner you don’t like?
We don’t kill a mother, or brother, or community member, for an alleged crime of a relative.
Only absolute monarchs rule by decrees.
February 5, 2015 at 2:16 PM #782665The-ShovelerParticipantIt seems Jordan is leaving a bunch of smoking holes where ISIS was right now.
February 6, 2015 at 2:52 PM #782696FlyerInHiGuestThose targets were chosen by the USA. Targets we would have hit eventually. We’ll be paying for the cost anyway as we will increase aid to Jordan.
Interesting latest piece by Charles Krauthammer. Jordan is a small but fragile country. Can a war against ISIS destabilize it?
