ParticipantCongratulations on the job offer!
Unfortunately, I don’t know a thing about San Dimas, so can’t give any advice there, but with that income and what I believe to be much more affordable housing (relative to SD), you should be able to live a very nice lifestyle.
Best of luck to you and your family!

ParticipantSan Dimas is a great family community with good schools as far as I can tell. Claremont, Glendora and La Verne are also desirable family neighborhoods with an easy commute to San Dimas.
Not sure about the east Indian community. LA in general has a big mix, so you should be welcome wherever you choose. I went to high school in West Covina (5-10 miles from San Dimas) and had plenty of Indian friends.
I have a good friend who is a realtor in Glendora if you want some help!
Good luck!
