I’ll start off with a housing question for the realtors here. Is a bomb shelter a searchable item when buying a home? Second question is of a general nature, do the shredders that shred cd/dvd also have the ability to shred credit cards? Lastly, why is there an expiration date on a credit card?

There was an awesome and somewhat affordable prepper real estate listing in north county inland from oceanside with generators, water and gasoline storage tanks, solar panels, a bunker, etc.

Probably so the owner knows when his card will stop working. Can you imagine the number of bad situations and angry phone calls that would happen if you went to purchase something important and your card was denied because it was expired?

Desert end of times shelter sounds like a bad idea. The marauding deplorables from AZ with guns will eventually kill you for your provisions.

Better have a plot of land and a normal house on a fertile, rainy Hawaiian island. Plan your exit early before the nuclear holocaust and live happily ever after on your island paradise. Solar for electricity. Rain for water. Chicken, pigs and sustainable farming. Banana and coconut trees…. why do you think billionaires. such as Larry Ellison, own island retreats.

San Diego and Cali in general are too close to critical infrastructure. Plus you’ll eventually run out of canned food.

On a sustainable Pacific island, the people can live happily together without worrying about invaders.
