I am cheering the good economy even though it’s juiced by the stimulative tax cuts. We will see adverse effects later on as the fiscal situation deteriorates.
I hope the deplorables are placated now stop bitching about how bad they have it. It’s non stop bitching how unfair life is to them.
China will be happy to hear that econ prof considers economic growth alone to be the gauge of success. They have sustained growth for 40 years, better than any other country in the history of mankind.
Very bad. I support 3 strikes and you’re out. In this regard, I support traditional values and the power of “just say no” for another couple decades.
Flooded with opioids, Appalachia is still trying to recover
Some prison time and personal responsibility will help them recover faster, hahaJuly 24, 2019 at 7:29 PM #813098spdrunParticipantDo I detect a slight tinge of sarcasm there?

Which is to say phenomenally ignorant.
August 17, 2019 at 10:28 AM #813243FlyerInHiGuestI’m beginning to like Trump the conservative. He’s making it harder to complain about housing discrimination.
Can you believe an apartment in Vegas paid $5k to a tenant for telling to supervise their kids in the common areas? The tenant complained to HUD.
When I own my apartments they will be 18 and over only. Children are monsters.
August 17, 2019 at 10:47 AM #813245FlyerInHiGuestI made a bet that i lost. Flu reminded me so I have to donate $500 to the Trump campaign. I bought some Trump plastic straws for $15 so I still have $485 to go.
It hurts! But if Trump is who America deserves, then so be it.August 17, 2019 at 11:54 AM #813247CoronitaParticipant
I’m beginning to like Trump the conservative. He’s making it harder to complain about housing discrimination.

That’s awesome Brian. Go for it!
I mean, if you really mean it and are truly striving to be a bigger asshole in real life versus just on a real estate blog that no one cares about, and really desire to have even more people dislike you in real life, go for it! It’s certainly a free country so that if you want to be a miserable, grumpy old fart and self destruct on your own dime… More power to you!!! Personally, I like being around people who aren’t so negative and miserable all the time. But whatever floats your boat! You the man!
August 17, 2019 at 1:14 PM #813250FlyerInHiGuestWhat flu? You’re not outraged by abuses of liberal regulations anymore.
Some asshole whose kids are destroying community property and creating a ruckus gets a $5k gift thanks to HUD.
Las Vegas tenant to be paid $5K to settle discrimination claim

The article doesn’t say that they were destroying property, only playing without supervision — kids playing without supervision are NORMAL outside of the US. Shame the fine wasn’t more and that the person who snitched to the HOA didn’t get personally fined.

August 18, 2019 at 7:49 AM #813258FlyerInHiGuestThis is America and children are supervised.
I have lived abroad as a kid and I can tell you there is a good reason 60% of tech economy employees are foreign born — the percentage is even higher in California.

But only recently. And it sucks
August 18, 2019 at 8:51 AM #813260spdrunParticipantFlyerinHI … yeah, yeah, “this is America” — congrats for apologizing for one of the worst inventions of this country … helicopter parenting. If you had kids (not that anyone wants to breed with you), wouldn’t you want them to be independent and be able to play outside? You claim to be worldly, but you’re just an ugly American at heart.
Please, please go after parents whose kids are enjoying a fun day outside. I actually don’t wish for you to get sued. Rather, I hope that one of the parents simply slugs you in your smug face and knocks you out flat.
August 20, 2019 at 10:35 AM #813278FlyerInHiGuestI get you spdrun. Some dude did threaten to knock me out. I called the owner and his lease was not renewed. He had out of control kids. Good riddance.
This is not about what i philosophically believe about fairness and community, but about what Trump is doing that makes my life a little easier. American kids and parents are what they are; they won’t change for decades.
