Funny but I was just talking with a friend about that tract yesterday. He said they looked at those houses when they were being built (as well as San Elijo Hills), they were selling 4000 sq ft at roughly the same price as 2500 sq ft homes in the communities closer to the coast in higher ranked school districts. He is not employed in RE in any way shape or form and said he ruled it out (too far from the beach) but commented that alot of marginally qualified people probably bought there because they thought size mattered more and didnt understand the dynamics of location. We both wondered how the neighborhood was doing.
Now we know.
