Lots of buyers passed on it, I don’t know for what reasons. I’d say the buyer got a pretty good deal for today’s market. There are other houses for sale in La Jolla now that are only asking a bit more, that are in better locations, or single story, or have a view, but are smaller.
In contrast, the Clairemont buyers overpaid. I wonder if they are not local, or they don’t have kids and don’t care about the schools?
