what DWCAP said times two!
standard negotiating practice – whoever wants it the most is going to pay a premium – you’re asking someone who isn’t actively seeking to sell their home if they want to sell their home
I’ll sell you my current home for 2006 prices

I was targeting duplexes in the Bay Park / Bay Ho area – many of these are rentals so I sent my letters to the owner of record rather than the property address

I want to believe that some of that ‘shadow’ will hit sometime in the near future, but I think I am just far too optimistic. Everything is a long shot right now or am I missing something really obvious?

February 2, 2010 at 1:50 PM #508784UCGalParticipantI had an old boyfriend who did that to get a vintage car… He knew there were a few in the ‘hood. He left notes on the windshields… He ended up being contacted and got a great price.
It doesn’t sound like it would hurt… you’re only out time and effort… not $$$.
