We eat tons of fresh salads, soups, breads, pizzas, casseroles, and veggies along with some meats, fish, eggs and other great foods, including oatmeal. My wife especially loves doing fantastic desserts–with everything fresh and homemade. When not dining out, we’ve been eating like this since the kids were young–all while still staying fit–but definitely best to enjoy foods that suit you and your family.

Well, if we’re going to get govt spending, better that it’s for infrastructure and investment rather than just giving people money to spend on stupid goods from China.

There’s inflation, but I’m not seeing an overall 8% increase for purchases. But I’m fortunate that my housing costs are relatively fixed.

Based on my spreadsheet and 20 years of spending data, I’m pace for the same spending level as 2018/2019. (if I were to normalize probably would add 3% from 2019 – think I go out to eat a little less now).

Yes, Chino Farm is great, along with a few other places we like. So glad to have so many great options available.

It wasn’t the first Costco however, it was a Price Club that is older than any other existing Costco.

Price Club bought Costco, but retained the name Costco. The store on Morena is the original Price Club!

But durian is soooooo good! Life wouldn’t be worth living without some sweet and juicy durian.

Fermented stinky tofu is relatively inflation proof. And it’s easy to make outside, and great for that neighborly love.
