I use cameras,semi-hidden. Even though i have family in law enforcement, I’ve come to learn you cannot count on them to protect property. Haven’t had any problems yet, I might add that the best thing to do is get to know your neighbors. If you don’t then they are less likely to check something out while you are gone.

I offered some free firewood on craigslist. The first respondent was obviously using the contact to case us out. I let him know that I was on to him and that he best never come near my place under any circumstances.I think the risk from this jerk is over. Be careful.
