Go here to enter your address and subscribe for semi-daily lists of police reports in your neighborhood:
http://apps.sandiego.gov/ewatch/
They send you a list of citations and a link to an interactive map showing all the police reports from your neighborhood from the past few days.
I haven’t noticed any increase in police reports yet. I have, however, noticed a MASSIVE increase in citations ever since they put in a red-light camera a block from my house. It seems to come in waves — sometimes no citations for weeks, then one night there will be 15 of them.

November 23, 2009 at 11:24 PM #485959CA renterParticipantWe got an e-mail from a neighbor the other day describing two separate car break-ins at their house and another neighbors’. When the police came there to file the report, the officer said that was her fifth call that morning, and there were many more to go. This is in a “good” neighborhood.
