how’s that working out for you in the long run, timing the market?

October 23, 2015 at 4:40 PM #790645moneymakerParticipantPretty good i must say. Since I don’t worry about lost opportunity, just the bottom line it works, just don’t tell my Uncle.
October 24, 2015 at 4:14 PM #790657svelteParticipantI take it you expect the market to go down, since you’re out?
October 26, 2015 at 8:20 PM #790690moneymakerParticipantAbsolutely! Just not sure when or by how much, you know, the details! I’m out of silver too, but will not hesitate to get back in on a dip. That may not happen and I will be glad to walk away with 700 times what the bank pays on my checking/savings. It’s a no-brainer these days to milk the market I think.

March 10, 2016 at 6:46 AM #795520svelteParticipantYeah, I thought of you when the market started to go down this year. You called it right!
I take it you’re back in now?
March 10, 2016 at 7:30 AM #795523spdrunParticipantLet’s hope markets follow same pattern this year as last. Rise towards summer, than a big tank later in the year.

If you get out today. In a week or 2 the market could be 5% higher, 5% lower or relatively the same.
March 10, 2016 at 9:07 AM #795529moneymakerParticipantSeems like a roller coaster to me lots of ups and downs but ultimately stays at the same level.
March 10, 2016 at 9:20 AM #795533spdrunParticipantIndividual stocks do not the market make — there’s still money to be made if you buy/sell the right stocks at the right time 🙂
