BG, Bill and Anthony are not running.
As a woman, how do rationalize the sexual exploits of Donald who is running?
Easily. The Donald’s “exploits” were WORDS, NOT ACTIONS and he was “single” during all of the “alleged” incidences except for the hot mic incident on the bus. Bill and Anthony were very married during all times when they ACTED on their sexual proclivities.
In addition, Donald’s recent “bimbo eruptions” were mostly “Hollywood has-beens” and thus were opportunists looking to get some airtime in a desperate attempt to garner media attention in the middle of a presidential campaign (after being [rightly] ignored by the media for years) . . . OR an attempt to compel Trump to pay them off to go away … or both. They were all disgusting losers who had years, even decades to complain about Trump’s supposed behavior towards them but chose one month before election day to do so. Ask yourself why … and WHO compelled them to do so.
The only classy ladies in Trump’s highly publicized “non-sexcapades” (who were actually the object of Trump’s private bus comments to another male) were Nancy O’Dell and Arianne Zuckor. Being the consummate show business professionals that they were (and still are), they both didn’t take the hot mic comments personally and recognized that the bus conversation was nothing more than “locker-room talk” . . . par for the course in the entertainment industry. They both issued statements that didn’t even mention Trump’s name and never indicated that they were damaged by such statements …. or even remembered the incident well.
brian, if you don’t understand the difference between WORDS and ACTIONS and MARRIED and SINGLE, then I can’t help you :=0
October 28, 2016 at 5:42 PM #802745bearishgurlParticipantHuma is very attractive, educated and in many ways, smart. Not sure why she found it necessary to hang around Weiner (aka “Carlos Danger”) for so long. It tainted her as “damaged goods.”
Now, she’s going to have to get as far away from Clinton as fast as she can …. starting tonight …. that is, if HRC is going to have any prayer at all of getting elected.
I don’t understand why women do this to themselves. Especially educated, experienced women who can support themselves. It boggles the mind.
October 28, 2016 at 5:55 PM #802746ltsdddParticipantI believe the market will react negatively regardless of who wins. I am 50% cash and don’t mind a 5-10% correction so I can move it all back in.

Although it is more than what it was under bush, it is still currently historically low.
The way I look at is if Hillary wins, chances are the Democrats will also sweep Congress. So capital gains taxes most likely would go up for most of us. So I might as well sell this year and lock on this year’s cap gains/dividend rates.
If trump wins, he also plans on raising cap gain taxes, though less. And there is also the possibility of him tanking the economy similar to BRExit. At that point, it won’t matter what the capital gains tax rate is if your 401k looks like a 201k like it did under Bush, so to speak.
October 28, 2016 at 9:59 PM #802756anParticipantflu, I know you’re much more rational than this. Don’t talk like those crazy right wing nut jobs when Obama won in 2008. Everything will be just fine under either one of them. I am super grateful that we saw 2008 under Bush. There’s no way in hell I would be where I am today w/out that crash. So, if I’m lucky enough to see another 201k, that would be super awesome. Bring it on.

Long term I know we will be fine.I am pivoting more towards for a “correction” right now than before, I really don’t want to live through another 8 years of recession with my money locked into stock on the wrong side of the fence. Over the next 8 years, I’ll have 1 kid going to college (with a major expense), I’ll almost be eligible to start receiving junk mail from AARP, and my reaction time will probably be so slow I probably won’t be able to tell the difference between a Cadillac versus a Porsche.
I just don’t see many positive events that could be driving the markets higher, especially with a Trump win, especially since it doesn’t seem like the markets like Trump. The markets seemed to have already factored in a Hillary win. VIX Volatility index went up, precious metals went up, and the major indexes did a reversal after news broke.
I don’t know, just seems “strange”. In a few days, we’ll find out….And if all is well, no harm in moving things back.

But Republicans have for too long enabled the racist, xenophobic elements of the party. Is it any surprise that we see the extremists revealing themselves this year?
FlyerInHI, roughly what percent of republicans do you consider racists? If you vote for Trump are you a racist?

I think you mean you’re grateful for the monetary and fiscal responses to the 2008 crash. Had there been no responses, the capital that sustains tech would have dried up very quickly.

I don’t know what the percentage of the Republican party is racist. It’s pretty high. If you vote for Trump, you’re embracing the racists. Do what you will, but you enable them, you own them. If you have an uncle or cousin who is racist, it’s your responsibility to put a stop a stop to it, or break with them.
The Democratic party was the party of racists in the past. We chose to break with the racists who headed straight to the Republican party. Read about the Nixon Southern Strategy.
Just watch the video of Kirk mocking Duckworth’s Asian heritage. Mark Kirk is not a Trump supporter. But I think he represents Republicans pretty well. Is he racist? you decide.
