I found out my broker committed suicide after the tech crash in 2000. She was a young Indian woman who evidently held herself to high standards in managing people’s money. Well, she lost over $200K of mine, but I was shocked to learn of her demise.

A group of men can easily “hang” another man. Doesn’t make it a suicide.
OTOH, if it’s a real suicide, it’s possible he was worried about an investigation of sorts, and feared that whatever might be coming could have meant a very long prison term for him. There’s always that, in this environment.
