I don’t think it’s the fats in our diet that is causing obesity. It’s the sugar that is killing us (and carbs).
I am pretty skinny and have always been. But back in 2000, I worked at a place with free unlimited sodas. So I started drinking 6 of them a day. I went from a washboard stomach to a belly gut. It wasn’t big, but it was noticeable.
I started working out in 2004, and gained alot of muscle mass but the gut remained. Stayed low fat, lots of fruits, lean meats, etc, but it remained.
I just started the Belly Fat Cure lifestyle 2 weeks ago and that gut is almost gone! I guess I never realized that what caused weight gain was high levels of insulin. Anyways, that was the missing key. I have even gone back to normal levels of healthy fat intake, and I am still losing my gut.
Anyways, just my story for the Piggies. Here’s a couple vids that helped me figure this stuff out:

July 29, 2010 at 3:49 PM #584092jeemanParticipantNo problem, CA renter….I would expound more, but Jorge Cruise and Dr. Oz do a great job of it.
But it’s not an atkins diet thing. It’s just limiting sugar/carbs to what our bodies were made to ingest. We overconsume them and get overweight.
