As an aside, I’m fairly certain that Brian has no interest in seeing a woman naked. Ever. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I suppose you’ve come to rely pretty well on your gaydar.

like I mentioned before, we WILL get to 50% obesity rate. THAT WILL HAPPEN. There is no stopping THAT gravy train. In that world, we will be looking at 90% overweight rate and probably 40-50% diabetic rate.
In that world, if you are not shooting up insulin, you are likely the “vain types who stare at themselves in the mirror all day and disdain those who are not equally vain.”
I think you’ve put it pretty well, ocrenter.
I do respect your posts calling Y2K pricing and 50% off, to healthcare. You always put it in very realistic terms.
Vain is all relative.
What are you we doing on this site but being vain about money, real estate and personal responsibility?
We rail against and look down upon financial indulgence and gluttony.
What could being personally responsible more than taking care of one’s health?
I suggest that one who is indulgent with money (a fiat means of exchange that can be easily replaced) but takes care of his health is more responsible that one who builds a real estate empire but stuffs himself with cookie dough.
Society, culture and animal instincts are telling us that certain foods are desirable and delicious, but science is telling us otherwise.
The facts are that calorie restriction prolongs lives and improves health. Are we responsible enough to do what is best for our health?
BTW, it doesn’t matter what metabolism you have. If you don’t consume the calories, you can’t gain weight.

Who will survive when the food shortages start? Will it be the fat who can live on their fat stores or the slim who are in better shape? Just curious.July 22, 2010 at 2:16 PM #581442ZeitgeistParticipantHey Brian,
