ParticipantI agree with you. We all need to make a compromise between dream and reality. I can think of a lot of things our current “dream” house could become a better dream house. I was just trying to say–don’t settle for a place you’ll hate from the beginning. Settle maybe for 9/10 or even 7/10 of your dream house.

Totally agree with that. 7/10-9/10 isn’t too shabby to start out with. My motto is, be prepared to live in it for a very long time if life doesn’t work out the way you planned. So, make sure you like the house you bought.February 3, 2010 at 11:33 AM #508584an
