ParticipantFemale, 30, medical professional and freelance musician, married/DINK (Dual Income No Kids). I post occasionally but try to avoid topics that involve opinions. Opinions don’t figure well into spreadsheets. Discovered Piggington about a year ago when I first moved to SD and started looking for a house. Credit crunched and prices dropped so I needed spreadsheets to figure out why. Thanks, Rich and Piggs for providing me with a wealth of knowledge.
To me it seems that a lot of us here, male or female, do not settle for good decisions; it must be the BEST decision with the highest probability of success. This requires gleaning as much information as possible. I bet you’re all a bunch of overachievers. 🙂

ParticipantFemale. Have bought and sold a few properties in PB and downtown, some with huge profits (bought in ’95, sold in ’04) and some with merely respectable profits. I still own the place we’re in now, but that’s just because it would cost the same to rent here. I follow real estate here and on Hawaii, but have no intention of buying right now.
