How is the market in Temecula/Murrieta?

Damage largely already done, My tract started selling in 2005, and completed late 2009,
Builder was selling homes 40 % off peak at end, (same price I got mine) , some REO’s in the tract sold for 60 % off peak.

Seems 80% of peak buyers have been washed out already, the rest had large down payments it seems and don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

There are still a few REO’s and short sales in the tract so maybe a few more.(maybe 5 of the 150 or so homes).

Fish House Vera Cruz is just the cherry on top of our wonderful handfull of schools. I am so impressed by the teachers & parent participation.

I just hope San Marcos can uphold the community for another 30 yrs….

San Marcos schools are barely a notch above Escondido schools.

Grew up in Esco. Know the area/surrounding areas well. Temecula reminds me of Escondido when I was young. Sadly, most of NC had/has no plan, is a mess that is full of crime, and no real plan for the future.

I’d be all over Temecula if it weren’t for the commute. Did it for 2 years until my LL lost his house and had to move into the rental. Now I’m back in a nice pocket in Esco in the hills, but am reminded what a dumb both Esco and SM is when I leave my sanctuary.

Oh, and I greatly miss FIOS. Maybe if Morgan Valley keeps dropping…
