Yes, I’m just looking at that. Will likely be a wild ride tomorrow. If rumor starts that the autos get funds from the TARP, then my guess is market will rally back. Will probably come back or go up at the close as has been the trend lately on Friday afternoon. Actually, these late Friday rallys just looks like short covering and will likely be more dramatic tomorrow especially if the auto deal is not resolved by then.
Peterb…do you still think we will rally to the 1000 level on the spx?

December 12, 2008 at 9:00 AM #314612stockstradrParticipantOK, market not going the way I expected.
I DUMPED everything this morning after markets recovered from the opening lows.
Time to sit on the sidelines and figure out where these markets want to go.
Yesterday and today’s markets took back 10% of my 30% gains in oil stocks made over last ten days. Ouch.
I just knew I should have sold oil stocks into the top of yesterday’s session. Oh well.

December 12, 2008 at 9:16 AM #314671NotCrankyParticipantStockstrader, have you ever considered Gambler’s Anonymous? Seriously, I would like to hear why or why not. Maybe your strategies and focus are perfectly fine. It strikes me as unusual …but I don’t know much about being a “trader” .
Ruling you out, do people get negatively addicted to trading?
