Proposition A. Recycling Collection Center and Landfill Ordinance — County of San Diego (Majority Approval Required)
Shall this Initiative be adopted for the purpose of siting a new recycling center and class III solid waste landfill in the East Otay Mesa area of unincorporated San Diego County?
Proposition B. Proposed Term Limits Amendment — County of San Diego (Charter Amendment – Majority Approval Required)
Shall the San Diego County Charter be amended to impose a limit of two terms for persons serving on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors?
Proposition C. Limitations and Credits for Veterans’ Preference Points — City of San Diego (Charter Amendment – Majority Approval Required)
Shall the Charter be amended to extend eligibility for veterans’ preference points in any original Civil Service examination to veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces during any war, major military action or peacekeeping mission, and to provide an additional five percent credit for any veteran or the spouse of any veteran who has a qualifying service-related disability?

So far, I’ve only researched how I am going to vote on the state propositions. And, unless new information comes to light on these, I will vote no on all except for I will vote yes on 13 and I am undecided on 17. With 17, I think it might be a good idea (since I always have diver’s insurance anyways), but I am wary of something sponsored by a car insurance company, and I am afraid I might be not have understood all the consequences.
