We are kind of schizophrenic on this point aren’t we? Especially when people on a site dedicated to the financial aspects of RE trot it out. I think they mean you should not use it as an investment, if you don’t know what you are doing….

I eman, when i buy clothing, if one suit is 30% higher or 12% lower or even 130% higher, I dont’ really care that much. i want to buya suit that i like and feel comfortable. in. the price is highly secondary. a suit is truly not an investment. a house though is. In fact, anyone who s ays it isn’t is a liar.
