92011 and 92024 should be OK. I have relatives in those zips and they are still home. For 92078, I believe San Elijo has been evacuated, and not sure what is going on near Cal State San Marcos…

These fires are much worse than the wildfires from 2003!!!!!
I wonder if they will reach the coastal areas before the fire fighters put them out? Arnold should be sending super tankers to help the fire fighters out.

Just a quick note to thsoe on the board. Make sure that your Homeowners or renters policies are Replacement Cost Value policies as opposed to Actual cost value policies.
Make sure you have a copy of your electric bill to prove the house is yours. If you have time take digital pictures of evferything in the house. Get a camcorder if necessary. In the event of a total loss this will help to expedite the claims process.
