Given that our economy is almost exclusively reliant on housing and associated wealth effect…
Housing is a significant driver, but by “almost exclusively” do you mean 99%, 95 % of the economy or what percentage ?
I would like to see the data that supports this.April 3, 2022 at 7:44 AM #824822CoronitaParticipant

Even after the Great Recession was over and housing recovered, they never stopped! Clearly the Fed believes the housing market drives the economy, why else would they be involved in the mortgage market all this time? They obviously believe that if housing prices don’t go up in perpetuity, the economy will crash. We will soon find out if that is true or not.

April 4, 2022 at 10:30 AM #824833AnonymousGuestThe point is the fact that homebuilder stocks are taking a dump is just another indication of housing crash on the horizon.
April 4, 2022 at 10:50 AM #824836sdrealtorParticipantWe don’t really care as we are in great shape. You only care about being proven right and thinking you so smart. We’d rather be dummies and make money
April 4, 2022 at 10:53 AM #824839CoronitaParticipantI’d rather be dumb, wrong and make money…
