on my cabin liberty mutual dropped us and progressive, and many many others wouldnt even cover my zip code. They are really worried about liability latley.

They offer home insurance ( http://aarp.thehartford.com/Property-Insurance/Home-Insurance/ ) through The Hartford and have a lifetime renewability policy; as long as you don’t miss any payments, they will not cancel your coverage. If they agree to take you on as a client then you should be set for life.

My insurance is w/ Empire Fire and Marine. Wells Fargo is the agency. Got some friends and relatives to switch and they’ve been happy.

I also heard that USAA has good rates. But I’m not a member.
Seems like Farmers, State Farm and Allstate have the highest rates.
I have my auto policies through Wawanesa but have not yet gotten a quote for homeowners. Has anyone gotten good rates?
