Yes Russell I was also thinking Alpine area would be a nice fit for them. I have not researched real estate in that area but I think the climate and proximity to resources is good. I would consider Julian and Ramona too but something tells me better deals would be had in Alpine? That’s just a hopeful guess on my part. π

The variety of housing and lots to choose from are good in both, not necessarily the quantity of any one type, but it is spread out well. This is pretty much true for all the semi-rural areas. Alpine has more conveniences in town and nearby.Ramona is not a relaxed as Alpine… maybe has more risk of encountering some annoyance or worse on any given day.Maybe crime statistics don’t bear that out? I’m not sure. It would be worth checking that out.
