Noticed my tap water hardness is rising. Used to be about 400 ppm now it is around 450 ppm. Is this happening everywhere in San Diego? Is it just the water district I’m in (Helix)? Anybody else notice when peeing into hard water tends to make more foam (men only).
It varies with the mix of water you’re getting. Local ground water runs 200-300 ppm hardness, MWD provided water runs around 550 ppm hardness and local surface water reservoirs are around 700 ppm and up before the wet season.
