I’ve decided that tomorrow and 1/1 will be my days off from doing anything. The computer will be off, the phones, will be off. I’m shutting down my internet access, and going to enjoy the next two days doing absolutely nothing.
Yesterday was a very special day for me. It was the 8th MRI I got to track the pesky little “benign” tumor growing in me, and the first MRI that I got after being on chemo for awhile…I timed it so it would be done exactly the last day possible in 2011, since my medical team was off today….(As a bonus, it also means that my insurance company will responsible for paying 100% of it since I’ve already maxed out my out-of-pocket expenses for this year…unlike next week, when it resets…ha ha ha…)
So the results of this MRI, which I will get next week, will tell me if things are working…or not……And oh what a way to start a new year will be! So to end the rest of this otherwise shitty 2011 year without anymore unpleasant surprises and to start off 2012 with some good news, I’ve decided to crawl into a hole for the next two days and hibernate.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I speak for all of the forum participants when I say I hope you make it through 2012 and many more years.
And I’m not just saying that because I know that if you kick the bucket, interest rates will likely go up because you won’t be able to refi anymore.
