I think this statement is very demeaning to big-boned people like myself.
Not that obesity hasn’t always been a factor in American political life. Look at the Alger Hiss affair — the entire case against Whittaker Chambers seems to boil down to: “He was fat, therefore he was lying!”

I think this statement is very demeaning to big-boned people like myself.
