We live where homes are fairly spread out, so normally we don’t get many trick-or-treaters. They prefer neighborhoods where homes are close together so they can cover more ground quickly. We usually buy a bag or two and have to take 2/3rds to work the day after Halloween to get rid of it.
But tonight – WOW! So many kids! I bought two big bags this year and was mad at myself for doing so. But we went through all of it!
And the kids were fabulous…all really decked out, such great manners, just a joy to see at our door.
I love the chance to interact with the next generation…we are in good hands, people.
Seems like kids are out later, maybe I’m just getting older. Saw a few cool costumes, including a blow up dinosaur that was twice the size of the kid inside, yet he had no problems walking around.
