Participant

I don’t understand. Are you saying that since it is written it is not true or is true just because it is written in books?
I would also guess that neither of the doctorates is in marketing.
priasm dick: (couldn’t resist). You have not answered my question. do you discount the written word because it is trying to sell itself and make money? Wow, that takes a lot of references off the table. Of course, being written means that what you say can be attributed to you and you can be held accountable. Unlike in blogs where we all know there is no poisoning of the truth by money. Just complete anonymity.October 12, 2010 at 10:47 AM #616434investor

Participant
I was afraid this might degenerate into a “dick fight” so no, I’m not going to say what in. It’s none of your f’ing business anyway.
Bwahahahaha…. ringalingalingalingaling… my bullshit detector just went off.
There are only two reasons you wouldn’t say what they’re in: (1) you don’t actually have two doctorates, or (2) they are in some subject that is so far removed from the topic at hand as to be completely and totally irrelevant to your argument.
If you were afraid that “this might degenerate into a dick fight,” then why did YOU bring it up? After all, this is all YOUR doing, “investor.” You’re the one who wanted to claim to be all Mr. Smarty Pants. You. Brought. It. Up. Not me.

Pot calls kettle black.
You Conveniently disappeared for a few months after you last brought up Griffin and I pointed out in clear prose – using his own words – that this man does not even understand the basics of banking. Please feel free to pick up the thread.

davelj. I work for a living. I cannot spend much of my time writing blogs. My blogs are more to enhance interest in subjects rather that stupidly arguing with you and dave from fallbrook. Both of you waste my time with your off the mark replies. But, I’ll try again.
Ah yes, you work for a living. I forgot. So all of those conference calls with George Soros and Seth Klarman kept you away from the Pigg. Understand completely.
I actually work too. In fact, I’m away from the Pigg for months at a time as well, in various stretches. But I’m sensitive to following up on questions/comments that people have regarding comments that I MAKE in THREADS THAT I START. I don’t let those drop if the thread is still active. But that’s just me.
So, I think the best thing to do is just to re-activate the original thread so that you can pick up where you left off.
I just reviewed alot of the original tread. Aside from the joy of battling sarcastic wit with some of you, I have learned nothing new from most of the threads. Some of you are more interested in defending established ideas rather than questioning the status quo. Not worth my time frankly.October 12, 2010 at 10:51 AM #616444investor
