    Quotes from a Genius :

    “Home prices in the U.S. are likely to start to stabilize or touch bottom sometime in the first half of 2009, ” said Greenspan to The Wall Street Journal.

    But he also added that “prices could continue to drift lower through 2009 and beyond,” according to the newspaper.

    Pure genius. The only way he can be wrong is if prices touch bottom before the end of 2008.

    Once again, unless this downtrend lasts forever then he WILL be correct on that quote.

    It’s a lot like Warren Buffett saying that the next 100% move in the stock market will be UP rather than DOWN. (Anyone willing to take that bet?)
