Participant
Congrats Ox.
When I buy, I’m planning to go through my credit union; won’t even look at a zombie bank.
On a percentage basis, there are just as many zombie credit unions as there are zombie banks. But they’re smaller so you don’t hear about it. And, yes, your tax dollars are backing the credit unions (via the NCUA via the Treasury) as well. And San Diego’s got more crippled credit unions than just about anywhere else.

ParticipantFWIW, while its tough to put a year on it because houses like this didnt exist back then it looks like a year 2001 price. Not bad.

ParticipantFWIW, a buyer on one of my listings just got their BOA loan funded in under 30 days and it was a 10% down FHA deal.
