Getting a real estate license.

RE’s on this board… What’s the quickest way for me to get a real estate license? Recommend any books/classes or both.

Don’t know what the quickest is but here is a simple and fast way. Go to Board office.Its on Ronson Ct. in Clairmont. I will post the phone number in a few minutes. Pay for the online course with Allied Schools, which will arrive with registration numbers in a few days and take your courses that way. Take enough courses so that you can skip the first renewal period because they are really easy. Ask the person at the education desk how to do that. I think you will have to do three courses.You can take tests for all three course as soon as 18 days after receiving materials. The online school will include pratice tests for the state exam. Either sign up for the test online or go back and get a form from board office. You might as well get started from the board office because that is where you will keep your records and get lock boxes keys ect.

Thanks for the info. I’m planning on getting a license, mainly for the future. My days as an engineer are numbered imho (about 10 more good years). Plus, i figure a RE license might come in handy in the the month/years ahead. If I was more motivated, I’d want to get a firm understanding of real estate law too. But I hate to read a lot 🙂

As far as my username. I guess I’m starting to get old, and slightly less cocky. I’m considering toning it down a bit, as it might be sort of offensive. Maybe I’ll just change it to FLU for short…
