Rubbie, I don’t agree with most of your post. But, I agree with this:
“I don’t care if you wanna have 7 wives, I just wouldn’t want to be any of them.”
Preach it girl, PREACH!! π

Is it OK for three people of the same sex who are insanely in love with each other to get married?
Why/why not?”To me that is your own judgement. I find it troubling that you would equate being born “GAY” with being deviant. though I believe that if it makes them happy and they aren’t hurting anyone it’s their business not mine. Animals do all of the things your talking about. For me there is a choice there because I am not attracted to anyone in my family, the thought makes me neausious. Though some people are. If they aren’t hurting anyone you shouldn’t be able to stop them. Though their offspring may be affected by there behaviour. May be that’s why the government doesn’t allow it.

May 15, 2008 at 9:37 PM #205463RicechexParticipantRustico– thankyou–I think it is a matter of world view, knowledge and critical thinking. When people come out with blanket statements and cannot think in “grays” and “continuims” they become blinded to all the diversity that exists within all of us. There is a certain inflexibility and rigidity that rules their belief system which prevents them from developing a greater understanding—because they want to box it all up and make it nice, neat and clean. And, that’s not life.
