ParticipantI was out for a run last night and noticed a professional photographer set up in front of an empty house taking some pretty fancy photos. He had his tri-pod out in the street with some fancy red cones around him, like he was some traffic surveyor. The driveway and all the sidewalks were hosed down to give it a nice glow. All the lights were on inside the house (which was totally empty). All this right at dusk to get the perfect light. I thought it was true sign of the times.

ParticipantThis one is sad. The van owners are friends and they are very good, giving, compassionate people who are not well educated in financial matters and have unfortunately made poor decisions based on the advice of their “investment group” which is headed by some real estate agents & brokers that profited. I fear they are going to be clobbered and go upside down soon. Had I known what they were doing, I would have directed them to this site, however, the damage had been done by the time I found out.

They claimed that a buyer googled the address to their house, found my site, and pulled out of escrow. I had to stick it to them that I was only linking public information together which is not a crime (zillow and ziprealty). Since is has been down, I am finally allowed to post on it and I saw no point to put it back up after what most know now. As for that photo it does not depict the people but it was meant to show the problem (sign of the times). If anyone wanted to get a host and we post together on a site I would be willing as I have saved all 310MB of files from my site.
