Why would you even waste your time to get some stupid POS nylon tote? Now you have a CC, they ran your credit (doc against your FICO). I hate those CC stands that are everywhere.

If I had the slightest suspicion it was a CC solicitation, I would have walked – as I always do. Here, they cornered us at the exit gates and thrust the bag at us – I thought it was some Universal promotional souvenir. Only later on, another guy comes and pesters you to give back the paper( kept inside the bag, invisible when you get the bag) "with just name and address". I still don't know how they can access my credit files without SSN. It was just like the street kids in Tijuana pestering you to buy some trinkets for a buck. ( Only young pale faces instead of brown!). The reason I mention all this is the aggressiveness to push low grade debt has entered into the DNA of our national economy.
