The Gary Kent Team of RE/MAX Associates continues to expand our very busy
REO Department (REAL ESTATE OWNED) representing lenders and asset managers
around the country and around the world with their foreclosed properties in San Diego and Riverside Counties.
The position:
Field Services is a broad-based job description that is constantly subject to change.
Primary responsibilities will require you to do a lot of driving throughout the day,
visiting foreclosed properties to take digital photos and inspect the condition of the properties.
Along with taking photos of comparable properties for BPO’s (Broker Price Opinions).
Also, you will meet vendors on site to get bids or arrange access for repairs. Additionally you will be
researching status on utilities, making sure they are on and operating and continually reassessing the condition of the properties.
As time permits you will be involved in other aspects of our operation to include learning how to do BPO’s.
ARE YOU INTERESTED? If so, here are our requirements and preferences.
Make sure and read the DISAPPROVAL list.Requirements:
Your own car, in safe condition with insurance and a good driving record. We pay 48.5 cents per mile for travel.
You must be okay with doing lots of driving… I mean a LOT of driving!
You must be a team player, your priorities will change throughout the day, we need someone who can deal with that.
You need to be able to multi-task
You will need to prove to us that you are familiar with the basics workings of a house’s plumbing, electrical and HVAC system.
You need to be familiar with the internet, computers and the basic programsPreferences:
Real estate and/or appraisal experience or education.
Property maintenance / construction experience
Bilingual in Spanish would be a plusDisapproval List, What we are NOT looking for are:
Part-time real estate agents trying to make ends meet between escrows. This is a full-time position.
People who have ordered some ‘get-rich-quick scheme from some late-night foreclosure, who are just looking to find a deal.
Future real estate agents looking to “get a little experience.”
Ethically challenged people, Honesty and ethics is a big part of our success, if you are challenged by that, please do not apply.
