said poster is obviously inured to corruption…
he may as well be quoting directly from Daffy Duck…
” Consequences, shmon-sequences, as long as I’m rich…”
his posts reek horribly of a most superficial and monied smugness

December 10, 2007 at 9:56 PM #113687MultiplepropertyownerParticipantsdrealtor,
Is it still possible to find an unclaimed piece of property and buy claim it old west style? I was told that the 5 homes overlooking Swami’s to the south of the parking lot in Encinitas. This was in the 1950’s, but I heard it also happened again in Del Mar within the last 10 years. Do you know anything about this. I have a piece of land I am looking at that I think is unclaimed.
P.S. You are a rock star on this site. I love that fact that a forum topic had your name in it.December 10, 2007 at 9:56 PM #113808MultiplepropertyownerParticipantsdrealtor,

As I have been responding to the thread I will respond but he is very helpful and hopefully he will to.

Do not know. I am pretty much a regular guy. Engineer by day and realtor by night. This question is beyond my knowledge base. If you are referencing obtaining a property by essentially squatting and then performing a quiet title action after a few years then that is always possible. I don’t think that is what you are talking about. If the land is really not claimed then delete this post immediately and get down to the city and do everything you can to find out about it. I doubt that is the case but ya never know.
The post with sdrealtor from farbet is not to me. sdrealtor has a heavy focus on the north county coastal submarket, thus that is why farbet queried him. Also if there was any coastal unclaimed land in Encinitas he would know about it.
