There’s a reason why every home with a pool as a fishnet screen covering the pool in Orlando…
omg flu, the chiggers and fleas LOVED me in FL – bit me right (and left) thru repellent. I was a walking, cracking pink calamine bottle while visiting there and for a month after returning home. Ba-a-a-a-a-d!
In FL, people actually sit in their backyards or in screened porches/enclosures at night and watch bugs being constantly incinerated in those electric bug killers installed next to porch lights or on a pole, while sipping cocktails. Hey, it’s cheap “recreation.”

chk, chk, chk, chk, chk, chk, chk, s-s-s-s-s-s— yowza!
You can’t possibly have it worse than me. I was there in orlando speculating on property around 2005 (so glad I thought it was ridiculous to be paying $500k for a sfh in orlando). And when I got back, I had to go to the doctors and get shots so all the swelling would go down…
I did like DisneyWorld. But, I don’t think there’s much in terms of high paying careers out there (except maybe if you’re self-employed like doctors/attorney/etc)….
