When I was a kid my dad traveled a lot. We all loved it. We loved getting on the plane and going places.[/quote]We moved a lot when we were kids, too. From NY to Italy. Each year we moved to a different city while in Italy. Then back to the US, temporarily in NJ w/family. Then to California. At the time, I wouldn’t say I loved changing schools and making new friends. But looking back, it’s true that kids adapt. I think if you have a solid foundation, good family life, kids adjust. Having mom stay at home was security for us. I think overall, it’s a good experience and I can appreciate it now.

My dad traveled also but we never moved. There is a difference. Did you move houses every 6 months?

While you can appreciate it now do you ever think what it might have been like if you lived in a nice community and never moved? How different your life might be today?August 19, 2010 at 9:38 AM #593261sdrealtor
