An hour? Are you talking about time with extreme traffic? In the morning, most of the traffic is between 78 and Via Rancho Parkway. Based on Google map going 65mph on the freeway and have no traffic, it’s ~25 miles and ~30 minutes. I think that’s a pretty decent sacrifice for a much better house and much better school. Rush hour commute to LJCD would be 35-45 minutes, but upcoming carpool lanes on the 15 are going to change that.
I don’t know how good LJCD is. The house in CV is assigned to Solana Highlands Elementary, API rank 10: asian API 969, white API 918. The school in Esco is rank 9, white API 909, numbers of Asians are insignificant.
