Me neither. This actually made me like the guy!

he can start with all the people that failed to deliver 10nm and also failing to deliver on 7nm.
Making AMD and Taiwan Semiconductor look really really good though…..
At least ‘Murthy is out. He was incompetent at Qualcomm and glad his incompetance showed at Intel too
Intel lost Jim Keller, probably because he got fed up with Intel bureaucracy and could smell the trouble.
Intel has become the collector of burnt out, ineffective semiconductor executives from competitors that failed miserably at their previous careers and now just want to rest and vesr.
I so called this one right 5-6 years ago….And Intel deserves it. after so many years of quashing competition by funding fake benchmarks, cpu reviewers, and giving OEMs incentives to not buy competing chips, something they paid a hefty fine for
$40/share here we come.

AMD’s books show an accumulated deficit of $7 billion, ie prior year losses of billions in excess of retained earnings.
Making computer parts seems to be an industry like airlines: over the long haul, losses greatly exceed the sporadic profits.

AMD, QCOM, and TSM all are on fire.
Not going to help home affordability in SD I am afraid.
AMD cracked in the server market better than expected. Previously thought unimaginable with Intel owning a huge marketshare. Guess the new Epyc processors are as good at trouncing Intel Xeon as they say at 1/3rd the cost.

I don’t like your framing of bullish news on real estate prices and residential rents one bit sir.

lol… But it’s true…
If Qualcomm is $103/share. That’s a lot more capital people have to spend on a house. And while not everyone works at QC or has stock in QC, those that do along with other semi that have been doing very well (minus Intel) have a huge advantage now versus 4 months ago in March.Along with low mortgage interest , now you’ll have more people that can come up with the down payment required to qualify for these loans, which I suspect is the main reason preventing a lot of people from buying.. don’t have the down payment. I don’t think we should discount that for some, they haven’t really been impactedmbyncocod.mandninnmanuncases, they are doing better.

I can’t tell you how many sellers I’ve researched over the years that were QCOM employees that decided to invest in a rental property or six. I can’t count that high. It is hard to quantify but it does does matter. -
