Seems contemporary and prescient on fame money politics and sociopaths rising to the top. Andy griffith is disturbing, hard to believe he became sheriff andy Taylor so soon after.

I saw that a few years ago. Really very striking the vibe he gives out there vs. Andy Taylor or Matlock.

I think I’ll watch it again for the resonates-today factor.

Elvis Costello may adapt it for a Broadway musical. He did a song at his concert st pechanga from the potential musical.
