ParticipantOkay, this happened to me too, here is the story:
Got the whole package like you and saw that my middle name was spelled incorrectly. Called escrow and asked them that since I was tight on time, can I just correct every single incorrect part (about 20 corrections on pages that i made) and initial it and send back to them. They said yes and they would correct after I sent a bunch of signed docs to them.
but only 1 letter of my middle name was incorrect.
There was absolutely no problem afterward. All following papers have my correct name. Final paperworks do not include any of the signed docs that I had to fix .
Depend on your case. If you have time, get the change before sign since it’s a different name all together.
Last resort, just do it like me but fix it every where you see the mistake and initial it.
Don’t shoot me if you have later have problems!

Good for you! Don’t let the escrow company push you around like that. You’re paying them; they should do their job.
