ParticipantI’m certainly no expert on this but having the name entirely wrong and changing it after the fact isn’t an addition or ammendment to instructions. I wouldn’t sign anything. Sounds like they are being lazy!

I agree. It is lack of attention to detail, and certainly is a red flag (check EVERYTHING with these people….).

Listen. This isn’t talking about mis-spelling. This is the wrong person’s name!
They aren’t the only escrow company in town. You could always tell them to take a walk and open up a new escrow.
I would play hardball on this one, but that’s just me.

Listen. This isn’t talking about mis-spelling. This is the wrong person’s name!
They aren’t the only escrow company in town. You could always tell them to take a walk and open up a new escrow.
