I think model homes are mostly very well kept. So I won’t worry about damages that much. I do like how most model homes have custom paint jobs :).

Perhaps the only thing is it's upgraded in a way one wouldn't like. But generally, I wouldn't mind buying a model at the right price.

I have heard that everything is slapped up as fast as they can get it done to open the models. If they make mistakes, they cover them up cosmetically. These are the first houses of the kind built, so there are mistakes and adjustments made after they put them up. Also they have appliances sitting in them for a year or more, check to see if the warranties are in effect. And don’t forget, you have to live with or tear down that ugly wall paper…
