ParticipantI’m under the impression that quite a bit of education funding has gone to build new schools … to support planned developments that may never be finished.
I don’t know about SDUSD, but Elk Grove comes to mind.

It got the gaming props passed…
Someone needs to find out where all this great lottery money is going. Remember how much education would benefit from a state lottery? Oh, and those property taxes that rose 200% over the last few years… where are those monies?
On the side of good news…
You can take a train from Oceanside to Escondido. $447 million well spent. Oh wait, delayed until March.
